Admission Requirements for MST Certificate Programs:
The MST For-Credit Certificate Programs require the following for admission:
- A completed application
with $25 non-refundable application fee
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- For non-native speakers of English, a score of 625 or better on the
TOEFL examination (paper-based test).Individual courses are open to
interested persons without the need to matriculate into the degree or
certificate programs. Enrollment is available to any qualified student.
Admission Requirements for the M.S. in Management Degree Program:
Please note that at this time, the MST degree program is only offered
on a part-time basis. Most of our students are working while pursuing
their degree.
For degree programs, the following items must be submitted:
- Complete OGI School of Science & Engineering application form
(The OGI application form is on-line at http://www.ogi.edu/admissions/apply/.)
- $65 nonrefundable application fee, which is valid for one year and
cannot be waived or deferred
- Official transcripts from each college or university attended
In addition to the general admission requirements for the institution, the
MST department requires:
- A bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution
- Official transcripts from each college or university attended. OGI
will provide transcripts for any courses taken at OGI prior to applying
for matriculation. Please indicate OGI courses in the Academic History
section of the application.
- A cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0
- A minimum of two years of full-time work experience-preferably at
the professional, supervisory or managerial level-in a technical, scientific,
business, or related area
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which should come from an
employer or supervisor
- Recommended TOEFL score of 625 (paper-based test) if English is not
the applicant's first language. Scores are not required for students
who earned an undergraduate degree in the United States, or who have
worked for a business for at least two years and where the primary business

- Please note that at this time, the MST degree program is part-time
only.
GMAT or GRE scores are not required. Part-time students may apply for
admission to the M.S. in Management program during any quarter.
Additional Requirement for International Students:
To be considered for admission to OGI for a program of study, international
students must also provide documents to show evidence of adequate financial
resources to pay for their OGI education and their cost of living. Transcripts
